Mission Statement: In order to glorify God and share His love with others, the purpose of His Kids is to reach out and minister to families in the name of Jesus by creating a loving and caring Christian environment, providing Christ-centered education, and devloping loving disciples.
Curriculum
His Kids Christian Learning Center is committed to the belief that each child is a unique individual created by God who has the potential of developing to his/her highest capability. Our goal is to provide an environment which will enhance the development of the total child-physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. We will provide a Christian atmosphere which emphasizes Christian principals and the value of faith as a foundation for spiritual growth.
Our Infants, Creepers, & Toddlers use the WEE Learn Curriculum. This curriculum allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did-in "wisdom and stature" and in "favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52) A child's growth and development is best understood as a process, not an event. Development begins when a child is conceived and continues throughout life. Wee Learn provides a range of activities designed to meet the needs of infants and toddlers at their level of development along the growth continuum, incorporating language, pre-reading, pre-writing, and other foundational skills appropriate to his or her stage of development. Physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development are interrelated. Wee Learn is developed around themes which provide opportunities for infant and toddlers to learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, self, family, others, and the natural world.
Our 2s, 3s, 4s, and Pre-K use the A Beka Curriculum. It's purpose is: "The God given ministry of Christian schools is to lead young people to Christ and train them in the Bible, Christian character, language, and traditional subject matter, Today's students need to be taught the accumulated wisdom of the past from God's point of view and trained in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6) so they will have a firm foundation from which to evaluate and make proper decisions for the future." This is a complete set of academics and spiritual teachings.
We begin our curriculum at 8:30 am Monday - Friday, with Chapel every Tuesday and Thursday.
