Welcome to the web page for Life Stage 2 Adults 40 – 64. The Life Stage 2 adults are conscious of the ministry needs of our members and of our community. We use the church’s mission statement as our own – “Every member is a minister.” Our mission is to take the message of Jesus to our community and world through the personal involvement of our members. In this area, you will find ministry opportunities to serve. If you don’t find a place to serve, we are open to suggestions for new ministries.
Discipleship is an area of the ministry where members develop into stronger, more mature Christians with a desire to learn about God’s involvement in their lives and with a desire to leave the baggage in our personal lives behind to move forward to a closer relationship and walk with Christ. Sometimes we are not prepared to meet some of the challenges life throws at us. Classes are offered on Wednesday night during the worship hour to meet these needs.
Fellowship is more than getting together for a meal or a time of fun. It is a time to partnership with others to serve Christ, the community, and each other. It is a time to learn something about your fellow members – who they are, what is their vocation; it is a time to connect, a time to meet, and make new friends. Without knowing our fellow members, we won’t have the interconnectedness that we need to fulfill our mission as a church and Life Stage Ministry.
Our church ministers everyday to many people who find themselves in circumstances where they don’t have the financial resources to pay their bills. Others have the means to pay their everyday bills but don’t have the funds for Thanksgiving or Christmas. We want to identify at least two families so that we can help them during these special holiday seasons.
Life Stage 2 is ministry minded – we are looking for opportunities to minister to others to fulfill the Great Commission. We want to be obedient. We want to imitate our Lord. We want to set the example. We want to be just like Jesus! Come join us in the greatest adventure of your life for Christ. Through this adventure you will grow closer to God and the people you serve! You will learn to be obedient, to imitate our Lord, to be an example to other, and we will learn to be like Jesus!
